Fails on VS 2010 as described by others.

VS 2010 Ultimate on Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit.
With every edition of Sql Connect up to, it creates the database project but cannot save it to disk without a popup: "The operation could not be completed. No such interface supported."

That's a bit of a showstopper.

I as well am very excited about this product. At last we have a team and company that recognize the need of larger enterprise customers that must implement and follow strict processes. This tool will allow us to overcome the hurdles with the current database source control projects we currently use in Visual Studio. The Red Gate team has been awesome in reviewing our feedback and focusing on delivering what the customer needs. Keep up the great work and product development. Nothing is better than a company that takes pride in listening and delivering customer needs. Red Gate is top notch in this category.

Awesome job so far guys. Throughout my entire programming career so far I've never been let down by any RedGate tool. Keep up the great work! I look forward to seeing the final product! I'll be blogging about this one soon enough.

    • I only install trial extensions when I know how much it's going to cost me to keep it. I can't even find the amount on your own web-page. Please list the price.
      Thank you.

    • Is this just SQL Server or can I also use PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Oracle?
    • AFAIK it's just SQL Server right now.
